Rock n Dirt was founded in 2017 by Nicholas Coppock when he was just 19 years old as a side job while he was working full time at an excavating company that his father was running. In 2018, Matt, Nicholas’ father, came on full time to run Rock n Dirt alongside Nicholas. Working in this industry has been his entire life, as he too started an excavating company in his younger years and has worked in various construction management positions. Matt's years of experience have given him the tools and contacts to help Nicholas grow Rock n Dirt to where it is today.

Now with Nicholas and Matt's combined passion for the company,  they are running Rock n Dirt together and growing their experiences every day. In 2020, Nicholas' mother also came on full time after working as a Nurse for several years.
